Deana is playing happily at Rainbow Bridge now...

This is Deana - she was very special because she was my first adopted sibling. She didn't live with us, she lived at a very special place called Dogs Trust.

After some not-so-happy years, Deana finally found all the love she could possibly wish for at Dogs Trust and enjoyed going on walks with her kennel mate, Jamie. She was also a real water baby and loved splashing around in her paddling pool or in the canal if she got the chance.

She always used to send us Charistmas Cards and letters to let us know how she was and what she was getting up to. She particularly enjoyed crunchy treats [runs in the family, that does!] and as is the case with most Pogladies, she had to keep an eye on her waistline! Personally, I always thought she was just gorgeous and loved her to bits!

Sadly, in Spetember last year, Deana was diagnosed with bone cancer. She was in pain and so to make the pain go away, she was taken to Rainbow Bridge where she is now playing and having fun with all the other Pogs there.

I never got to meet her in person because she was too nervous for visitors but we will get to meet eventually when I take my trip to Rainbow Bridge - and then we can spend some time catching up on all our news!
